Will Barnes is a consummate musician – a great electric and acoustic guitarist who revels in improvisation, bluesy interpretations and exciting jazz performance! This, is a very special outing for him at Witney Jazz, where he’ll be creating music with a brand new set of musicians: Award winning pianist/organist Pete Whittaker will be on hand as will bassist Paul Jefferies and the excellent drummer Mark Whitlam to ensure the jazz is first class. The music on offer will be based around the highly successful guitar / organ bands of guitar maestros George Benson and Wes Montgomery.
