🎙️ WRFM Outside Broadcasts 2026

Bringing Local Events to Life

At WRFM, we don’t just sit in the studio — we’re out in the community.

Our outside broadcasts bring local events, festivals, fundraisers and community initiatives directly to listeners across  Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds From agricultural shows and music festivals to charity days, town celebrations and sporting events, WRFM is proud to be part of what makes our area special.

  • Eynsham Carnival - 4th July

The annual Eynsham Carnival is one of the oldest of its kind in the county and celebrated its 75th year in 2023. Main attractions include a parade, outside stalls and craft fair, arena acts, fun fair and the famous shirt race.

  • Charlbury Beer Festival 2026 - 27th june

Charlbury Beer Festival is one of the Cotswolds’ best-loved summer events — a celebration of great beer, live music, food, and fun for the whole family. Run entirely by volunteers, we raise money for good causes locally and beyond.

  • West Oxon Steam and Vintage Show - 18th July

The West Oxfordshire Steam & Vintage Show is an annual family-friendly event celebrating Britain’s engineering and agricultural heritage. It takes place near Witney and attracts exhibitors and visitors from across the region.

The event features over 40 craft beers and ciders, live music, a BBQ, and family-friendly activities. Tickets generally include a commemorative glass and drinks tokens.

  • FFF&B Ploughing Match - 27th September
