    New College, The Wardens Garden open as part of the National Garden Scheme

    This special event takes place in the Warden’s private garden which isn't open to members of the public; It is an Oxford secret. The event will begin with Tea in the Warden's garden followed by a short lecture on New College. After this, visitors are given a private tour of the College and garden from The Warden, Miles Young. The College gardens, which have been developed and curated for by a distinguished series of Garden Fellows over the generations, most recently by Robin Lane-Fox. A highlight of the garden is the long herbaceous border, set against the medieval City wall.
